Profile Partners provides management consulting services to government agencies and nonprofit organizations. We are growing and searching for a Marketing and Outreach Specialist to help us continue to deliver excellent support to our clients and contribute to our growth. The ideal candidate will have the capability to design and execute marketing campaigns, including developing information tools (brochures, exhibits, videos, etc.), manage events, and provide strategic guidance to clients. You will need an interest in science and technology to thrive in this position.

Job Objectives and Responsibilities
- Design and execute marketing and promotional campaigns. This may include developing marketing strategies, communications plans, overseeing development of collateral, establishing and maintaining communications channels.
- Perform variety of writing and editing tasks, to include press releases, articles for publication, business emails, presentations, blog posts, content for web and social medias, and promotional material such as brochures, exhibits, posters, video scripts.
- Create and maintain media relationships on behalf of our clients.
- Support or manage events in scale from 20-participant virtual webinars to 200-attendee science Symposia, to 5,000-person conferences or community events.
- Responsibilities can grow to include managing more complex client projects to keep pace with your career interests and our client requirements.
- Maintain excellent relationships/rapport with clients.
- Provide advice and counsel to colleagues and clients.
Desired Skills and Qualities
- Excellent writing skills with a focus on clarity of thought and precision of language.
- 5+ years experience in marketing, public relations, business development, or related field.
- Strong verbal communication skills and possession of a consultant’s mindset, which means you look for solutions and bring a “can do” attitude to every interaction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual tools, and a dedication to customer service.
- Willingness to coach colleagues and clients to help strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets.
- Ability to manage yourself in a remote/virtual environment because while you will not be closely monitored, we expect your results to speak for themselves.
- A passion for building things from the ground up.
